C&M Training in association with Albion Environmental have delivered
Scotland’s first SQA accredited Basic Instructional Techniques
course that incorporates the HN Unit “Planning & Delivering
Learning Sessions to Groups”.
The first course was delivered in the Albion Environmental offices
in York Street, Ayr. The 4 day course is delivered in one block of 3
consecutive days with the final day being the delivery by the delegates
of a 20 minute teaching practice (TP). This is followed at least a week
later by the summative assessment day where the delegates deliver their
final 30 minute TP.
The course was developed and delivered by Craig Chandler (C&M
Training’s senior Trainer) who used the opportunity to pass on
some of his considerable experience in training delivery to the delegates
who were all independently assessed and passed with flying colours.
The course is ideal for in company trainers and leads to a recognised
training qualification issued by SQA.
