They offer accreditation for a range of first aid courses including the HSE First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work courses. Euro Health Group (EHG) – is a Danish-based health consultancy firm and not-for-profit group working mainly within the field of healthcare, providing technical assistance and support across the globe. Craig Chandler, C&M Training’s lead consultant is currently providing Waste Management & Training support for their National Healthcare Waste Management Project in Serbia. It’s aims are to develop a plan that is harmonised with EU healthcare waste management regulations, organise training in healthcare waste management for the Ministry of Health and hospitals throughout the country, support health institutions to develop individual waste management plans, develop awareness campaigns for relevant target groups, and supervise the installation of low temperature waste treatment systems and medical waste transport systems for Serbia.

The Technical Assistance for the Treatment of Healthcare Waste in Serbia website was established as a focal point for the communication of activities performed and initiatives undertaken by the EU Funded Healthcare Waste Management project in Serbia. It is an information and education tool for all healthcare professionals. The site is aimed at those who have, or will have, a responsibility for the management of healthcare waste in healthcare institutions both from the state and private sector. Craig Chandler, C&M Training’s lead consultant is currently involved in this project as a Key Expert for Waste Management & Training.

The Government recently accepted the recommendation outlined in the report, ‘Common Sense, Common Safety’ to professionalise health and safety consultants. The report recommended a qualification requirement that all consultants should be accredited to professional bodies and a web-based directory of accredited consultants should be established. The aim of the register is to help businesses find advice on managing their general health and safety risks. The register is only open to those health and safety consultants who have met certain standards within their professional bodies. Craig Chandler, C&M Training’s lead consultant has been vetted and accepted onto the register.

The British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP) is a professional body which exists to promote the safe transport of materials that present risk, by supporting the professionals who work in the business of dangerous goods. It supports the implementation of best practice, the application of sound science whilst seeking to work with government to understand how best to achieve higher standards in the transport of dangerous goods. Craig Chandler, C&M Training’s lead consultant and fully qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) is a member of BADGP and is fully committed to its aims.

The UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) is a ‘one-stop’ portal for use by government departments, agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers. Since it opened on 1st August 2005, the UKRLP has grown to over 25,000 providers. Each of these has been verified against a recognised external source and has been allocated a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN).

Ritchie’s Training Centre was established in 1983 and provides training in Logistics and Construction at their state of the art facility in Hobden Street (Glasgow). C&M Training and Ritchie’s have combined to deliver a Driver CPC Emergency First Aid at Work course.

The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) was established in 1975 as a professional body for health and safety practitioners. It was created to advance professional standards in accident prevention and occupational health throughout the world. Over the last three decades IIRSM has grown from a collective group of UK health and safety professionals to a thriving International Institute spanning over 70 countries. The Ayrshire Occupational Health & Safety Group (AOHSG) is a not for profit organisation (affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Safety Groups UK and the Scottish Chamber of Safety) that strives to promote good Health, Safety and Welfare practice. It provides advice and guidance to assist local organisations with improving their health and safety performance within the workplace and provides a forum where members can share their experiences of H&S problems and solutions. Membership is represented by a wide range of public and private organisations that are based in and around Ayrshire including C&M Training.
