C&M Training’s senior consultant, Craig Chandler has delivered the first
Veterinary Waste Technicians (VWT) course as part of an EU funded Healthcare
Waste Management project in the Republic of Serbia.
The course was developed by Craig and was based on the successful Healthcare
Waste Technicians (HWT) course format. The HWT course was adapted by Craig
to reflect the needs of the Veterinary sector & its associated legislation
along with current EU best practice. The objective of the training is to
develop key skills in nominated staff in order for them to develop safe
and efficient systems for the collection, storage, treatment and disposal
of veterinary waste in accordance with Serbian requirements and EU directives.
The first course was delivered in the University of Belgrade’s Veterinary
Faculty.
